Welcome to Highland Grain Limited, the name which is synonymous with the very best quality malting barley, produced for the Scotch Whisky Distilling industry.

Located on the beautiful Black Isle, just 6 miles north of Inverness and next to the main A9 trunk road, Highland Grain is owned and run by its 80 farming members.

From the South

Follow A9 to Inverness and over the Kessock Bridge on to the Black Isle.

Continue on the A9 for between 5 and 6 miles until you reach the Tore Roundabout (you will pass our plant on the right about one mile South of the Tore Roundabout).

At the Tore Roundabout, take the 4th exit, signposted to Fortrose and Cromarty (A832) and follow this road for 150 yards. Turn right just before the Petrol Station, signposted to Artafallie and follow this road for about 1 mile until you see the sign saying "Grain Plant" pointing to the right, at the cemetery.

From the North

Follow the A9 through Easter Ross, across the Cromarty Bridge, until you reach the Tore Roundabout on the Black Isle. Take the first left, signposted to Fortrose and Cromarty (A832) and follow this road for 150 yards. Turn right just before the Petrol Station, signposted to Artafallie and follow this road for about 1 mile until you see the sign saying "Grain Plant", pointing to the right, at the cemetery.

From the West

Take the A835 from Ullapool, or the A862 from Dingwall, to the Maryburgh roundabout and then follow the A835 across the Black Isle to the Tore Roundabout. Take the second left, signposted to Fortrose and Cromarty (A832) and follow this road for 150 yards. Turn right just before the Petrol Station, signposted to Artafallie and follow this road for about 1 mile until you see the sign saying "Grain Plant", pointing to the right, at the cemetery.
